Major reconstruction of overall site design and graphics.
Redesigned home page using javascript and DHTML for a new look and interactive graphic rollovers. Compatibility is now limited to IE4 and above and Netscape 4 and above due to these changes.
Restructured folders to reflect division of new sections and lesson the importance of the millennium info which is now "old news"
Recreated navigation, putting navigation bars into page headers rather than at the bottom of the main pages which I think was clunky.

Nobody ever noticed this near the top of the calendar explanation:
The calendar we commonly follow is the Gregorian calendar, introduced in 1582 by Pope Gregory XIII, with the help of astronomer Christopher Clavius, to correct errors in the causing the occurrence of the yearly previously used Julien calendar. These errors were equinoxes and solstices to drift away from their assigned calendar dates.
Fixed this old cut & paste error that must have occurred during my last edit of this page.

(My original dictionary lists either spelling as acceptable, and I built my original site using the "double n" version. When I rebuilt my site, I switched to the "single n" version, thinking it would be easier to maintain, but I recently changed my mind and decided to revert back to the original spelling. In print and in alternate dictionaries, the "Millennium" spelling seems to be preferred overall, including the case of the new Millennium Force rollercoaster opening at Cedar Point this spring. So I changed them all back (I hope). What a PIA <g>)
