A favorite view showing the typical timing of train dispatches during regular three-train operation of Raptor. As one train begins the final helix of the ride, another approaches the top of the lift hill. The third train is in the loading area of the boarding station. The train currently in the helix will hold in the final brake run until the boarded train is dispatched, which will occur when the second train clears the lift hill and approaches the midcourse brake. The third train will not be allowed to drop from the lift until the second train is clear of the midcourse brake. If for any reason the timing is not correct, the lift hill drive will automatically stop until the second train clears that brake. This computer controlled system, common on all modern rollercoasters, ensures safe, three train operation and removes the possibility of collisions.
